Wentworth Resources has obtained a one-year extension to its appraisal licence for its Rovuma basin onshore asset in Mozambique, the company has said.

Mozambique’s oil and gas regulator, the INP, agreed to extend the licence as a result of above-ground security risks “in and around the Macimboa da Praia and Palma regions” adjacent to its Tembo appraisal block, which have prevented its staff from accessing the site.
