Court accepts Naftogaz request to freeze Gazprom’s Dutch assets

A Dutch court has accepted a request filed by Naftogaz Ukrainy to seize the assets of Gazprom in the Netherlands.

A Dutch court has accepted a request filed by Ukrainian state-owned Naftogaz Ukrainy to seize the assets of Russian major Gazprom in the Netherlands, Naftogaz said in a note on Tuesday.

The seizure relates to Gazprom’s shares in its Dutch subsidiaries and any debt owed from these subsidiaries to Gazprom.
