Lower Italian imports cause drop in Africa-Europe flows

North African pipeline exports to Europe fell by 1.5% last week from the previous week, to 659 million cubic metres (MMcm), as Italian imports dropped. Libyan exports to Italy via the GreenStream pipeline fell by 8.9%, to 84.5 MMcm, while deliveries of Algerian gas to Italy via the Trans-Med pipeline fell by 2.2%, to 226.3 MMcm. Deliveries from Algeria to Spain via the Maghreb-Europe pipeline rose by 2.1%, to 230.3 MMcm, and transit via the Medgaz pipeline fell by 1.0%, to 117.9 MMcm.
