Australian Industrial Energy (AIE), a joint venture between Squadron Energy, Marubeni and Jera, will build an LNG terminal at Port Kembla in the Australian state of New South Wales (NSW), AIE announced on Monday.
The terminal will cost A$200-300 million (US$152-228 million) to build and will supply enough gas to meet 70% of the state’s gas needs when it goes online in early 2020.
