GE plans to stop selling oil and gas equipment in Iran later this year following the withdrawal of the United States from the Iranian nuclear deal, The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday.

GE has also abandoned plans to bid for contracts worth up to $150 million to supply pipelines, compressors and subsea equipment in Iran and ended talks to manufacture equipment with an Iranian company.
