Russia’s Novatek and French major Total are planning to sign an agreement on the Arctic LNG 2 project, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on Wednesday.
French President Emmanuel Macron and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin are scheduled to meet at the conference this week, but whether the issue of Total’s participation in Arctic LNG 2 will be discussed will be up to the heads of state, Ushakov added.
