Shenzhen Gas Group is set to start up a small-scale LNG import and storage project in southern China’s Guangdong province next month. Analysts say the facility will enable the local distributor to shore up gas supplies to Guangdong as supply diversions from southern to northern China during periods of peak demand become increasingly common.
