Norway’s BW LNG was the lowest bidder in a tender to supply an FSRU for Brazilian logistics company Prumo Logística, according to Upstream Online.

The FSRU will be part of an LNG-to-power megaproject in the Port of Açu complex in Rio de Janeiro state.

Prumo Logística, which is controlled by Washington-based private equity firm EIG Global Energy Partners, acquired the rights to the giant project from Bolognesi Energia, a subsidiary of Porto Alegre-based Grupo Bolognesi, in June 2017.
