Trump pressures Germany to drop support for Nord Stream 2

The US president has said the US will discuss a new trade deal with Germany if the country stops supporting the pipeline

United States President Donald Trump told German Chancellor Angela Merkel last month that the US would start talks on a new trade deal with the EU if Germany dropped its support for Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline, The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.
