Mozambique to earn $77.5 bln from LNG projects

The government of Mozambique expects to earn around $77.5 billion in tax revenue over the lifespans of Eni’s Coral FLNG project and the Anadarko-led Mozambique LNG project, Max Tonela, the minister of mineral resources and energy, said this week.

Eni took FID last year on the 3.4 mtpa Coral, which will require total investment of $8 billion and should generate of $24.5 billion over its lifetime.
