London-listed SDX Energy has announced it has encountered gas on its Ibn Yunus 1X well at its South Disouq permit in Egypt.
The well revealed 30.7 metres of net conventional gas pay, which according to Chief Executive Paul Welch “exceeded our expectations and is a strong endorsement of the significant potential of the licence”.
