
Equatorial Guinea has signed an agreement for a new source of gas supply to the Punta Europa LNG plant in a bid to maintain production levels.
The Ministry of Mines, Energy and Industry signed a heads of agreement last week establishing a framework to receive gas from the offshore Alen field, which lies in blocks O and I, and transport it to the LNG plant, which is located on Bioko Island.
