India’s H-Energy is facing opposition to its plan to build a 125-km pipeline in South Bengal that will cross the border into Bangladesh, according to Indian newspaper The Telegraph.

The pipeline will transport regasified LNG from H-Energy’s planned terminal in West Bengal. Indian Oil Corp. opposes the pipeline because it claims it is the sole supplier of regasified LNG to Bangladesh according to a memorandum of understanding signed between New Delhi and Dhaka.
