Djibouti has signed an agreement with China’s Poly-GCL to build a gas pipeline across the Ethiopian border. The deal will include the construction of an LNG export plant at Damerjog and will cost approximately $4 billion, Energies-Media reports.

The agreement follows the signing of a memorandum of understanding for the project in November 2017, after which the terms of the contract were finalised.
