Environmental group ClientEarth has submitted a complaint to a Finnish administrative court in Vaasa in a bid to halt the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline off the country’s coast, the group said on Monday.

Local authorities announced last month that they had approved a permit needed for laying the pipeline in Finland’s exclusive economic zone in the Baltic Sea.
