Export credit agencies (ECAs) will play a pivotal role in opening up new gas markets in Asia by offering crucial support for LNG-to-power projects in emerging markets. 

Many new LNG-to-power projects are under consideration in Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, the Philippines, Bangladesh and Pakistan as they are a relatively rapid way of adding significant grid capacity.
