China Three Gorges launched a €9.07 billion bid for control of Portugal’s EDP on Friday

State-owned Chinese utility China Three Gorges launched a €9.07 billion ($10.8 billion) bid for control of Portugal’s EDP on Friday, according to Reuters.

The Portuguese company has around 10 million power customers and 1.6 million gas customers.
