Independent explorer NewAge will start to drill the IM-6 well on its Etinde permit offshore Cameroon by the end of May, according to a press release from Bowleven, which holds a 25% interest in the field.
Bowleven said the driller contracted by the partners has arrived and will start operations in the coming weeks. Two wells are expected to be spudded over the next 150 days.
