Pakistan’s Haveli Bahadur Shah power plant has completed all commissioning activities and has started operations, according to Daily Pakistan.

The plant has a 1.23 GW capacity and is among the largest gas-fired power plants in the country.

Startup of the plant should help increase LNG imports through the Pakistan GasPort terminal, which has received only around two cargoes per month and has the capacity to receive around six.
