Work has been completed on Libya’s Sabratha offshore platform and onshore facilities to accommodate gas flows from the second phase of the Bahr Essalam project, Eni said in a statement on Thursday.
This will enable exports to Italy via the GreenStream pipeline to restart soon, the Italian major added.
Gas flows entering the Libyan treatment facilities should reach about 28 million cubic metres per day within the next two days, allowing GreenStream flows to return to normal, said Eni.
