Regulators in California have said reduced capacity in the Southern California Gas Co. (SoCalGas) system poses a moderate threat to gas and power reliability in the state this summer and a more serious threat next winter, Reuters has reported.

Regulators recommended that SoCalGas import LNG via the Costa Azul terminal in Mexico, among other measures.
