Chinese gas consumption up 17% in Q1 2018

China’s gas consumption increased by 17.4% in the first three months of 2018, to 69.0 bcm.

China’s gas consumption increased by 17.4% in the first three months of 2018, to 69.0 billion cubic metres, according to the National Development and Reform Commission.

Production rose by 4.2%, to 40.2 bcm, while imports were up by 41.4%, to 29.5 bcm.
