Noble Energy sees profits rise to $708 mln in Q1

Noble Energy recorded an operating income of $708 million in Q1 2018, up from $35 million in the same period last year.

United States-based Noble Energy recorded an operating income of $708 million in Q1 2018, up from $35 million in the same period last year, the company announced on Tuesday.

Total sales volumes across Noble’s US onshore assets averaged 237,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day over the period, up by about 40% on an annual basis, the company said.

The company noted its development of the Leviathan gas project offshore Israel is around 45% complete and construction of the production platform continues to progress.
