The Palestinian Authority is keen to alleviate Gaza’s energy crisis, and a gas pipeline linking Gaza with Israel could help. Zafer Melhem, chairman of the Palestinian Energy and Natural Resources Authority, told Interfax Natural Gas Daily about the challenges and opportunities of the project ahead of the imminent gas supply negotiations.
