Representatives from the Kenyan power sector have held a meeting with their counterparts in Mozambique to discuss the possibility of importing Mozambican LNG, Agence Ecofin has reported.

The gas would supply a planned 700 MW gas-fired power station in Mombasa.

The plant’s fuel supply would gradually shift to domestic resources currently being evaluated in the north of the country.
