ExxonMobil is looking to restart production at its PNG LNG project in Papua New Guinea at the beginning of May, Reuters reported on Wednesday.
Exxon declared force majeure on operations following a strong earthquake in late February near the gas plant at Hides in Hela province.
The plant may not be able to produce at capacity at first and will likely ramp up gradually, according to Emma Cochrane, Exxon’s vice president for LNG.
