Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak and European Commission Vice President Maroš Šefčovič discussed the future of Ukrainian gas transit in a telephone conversation on Wednesday, Interfax has reported.
Novak confirmed Russia’s commitment to continue using Ukraine’s transit system after 2020 and said a bilateral meeting with Šefčovič will be held.
