A consortium of four Indian state-owned companies has been awarded a licence to explore for oil and gas in Israeli waters, according to the Jewish News Syndicate.
Oil and Natural Gas Corp., Bharat Petroleum, Indian Oil Corp. and Oil India Ltd have been given a licence to explore Block 32 for a period of three years with the option to extend this for a further three years.
