Nord Stream 2 receives second Finnish permit

The Nord Stream 2 project company has received the second of two permits needed to build and operate the pipeline in Finland’s EEZ.

The Nord Stream 2 project company has received the second of two permits needed to build and operate the pipeline in Finland’s exclusive economic zone.

Finland’s government granted the second permit a week after issuing the first one.

“The Finnish authorities have approved our detailed plans to construct and operate the 374-kilometre Finnish section of the 1,230-kilometre Nord Stream 2 Pipeline,” Nord Stream AG said in a note on Thursday.
