HiGAS starts construction works on Sardinian SSLNG project

HiGAS, a joint venture between Gas and Heat and CPL Concordia, has started construction work at its small-scale LNG terminal on the Italian island of Sardinia, the company has said.

HiGAS has also signed a long-term agreement for the supply of LNG with electricity producer Ottana Energia. HiGAS’s 9,000 cubic metre LNG facility is the most advanced among five similar projects being planned along the coast of Sardinia.
