Ghana owes Nigeria $160 mln for gas

Ghana’s government is reported to owe $160 million to N-Gas.

Ghana’s government owes $160 million to N-Gas, a joint venture composed of Nigerian National Petroleum Corp., Chevron and Shell, which has been supplying gas to Ghanaian utility the Volta River Authority via the West African Gas Pipeline, Pulse Nigeria has reported.

The report comes as volumes of piped gas from Nigeria have been revealed to be far below contractual arrangements.
