Ex-works LNG prices at Chinese liquefaction plants fell by 3.5% last week from the previous week, to RMB 3,404 per ton ($10.43/MMBtu). Thirty-six plants in Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shanxi, Henan, Hubei, Shandong, Jiangsu, Shaanxi, Ningxia and Xinjiang cut their asking prices by an average of 6.37% as a result of soft demand.

Shipping rates for Chinese LNG trucked within 1,000 km ranged from RMB 0.75-1.28/km. For distances greater than 1,000 km, the rates ranged from RMB 0.65-1.20/km.
