Equatorial Guinea and Togo have signed a cooperation deal that will facilitate LNG trading between the two countries, according to NASDAQ.

The memorandum of understanding was signed under the LNG2Africa initiative, which promotes the trading of locally produced gas.

The new agreement will create the necessary framework for Togo to import LNG produced by Equatorial Guinea.
