Italian prosecutors have raided Eni’s offices in Milan to obtain documents related to possible illegal activities in Congo-Brazzaville in 2009 and 2014.
The company confirmed that the offices of two of its employees had been searched and that five people were under investigation in connection with alleged payment of bribes to Congolese individuals relating to contracts worth €350 million ($430 million).
