Russia’s Energy Ministry is drawing up an LNG development programme for the country to 2035 that plans for substantial output growth, Energy Minister Alexander Novak told journalists on Friday.
Novak said the ministry was aware that action was needed to avoid competition between Russia’s LNG and its pipeline gas on export markets, but it has not yet come up with a substantive proposal on how this might be done.
