Bulgarian Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova met a delegation from State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia, this week, Azerbaijani news agency Turan reported on Friday.
The parties discussed SOCAR’s participation in the development of Bulgaria’s gas distribution system. During the meeting, the Bulgarian government asked SOCAR to also take part in the planned expansion of the underground gas storage facility at Chiren, Turan reported.
