Sinopec aims to raise its supply of domestic and imported gas to 60 billion cubic metres per year by 2023, Reuters reported on Monday.
The Chinese state-owned giant will expand its LNG import capacity to 26 mtpa by the same year, up from 9 mtpa currently across three terminals in Qingdao, Beihai and Tianjin. Qingdao’s capacity will be increased to 8 mtpa and then 10-12 mtpa.
