An LNG tanker has docked at ExxonMobil’s PNG LNG plant in Papua New Guinea, according to Reuters.
The facility was shut down in late February following a powerful earthquake.
The 172,000 cubic metre capacity Kumul vessel docked at the plant on Monday. It picked up a cargo at Indonesia’s Bontang plant and is expected to have delivered it to PNG LNG to keep its tanks cold.
Exxon hopes to bring PNG LNG back online by late April.
