The United States exported an average of 54.32 million cubic metres per day (MMcm/d) of LNG in 2017, nearly four times the 14 MMcm/d it sent out in 2016, the US Energy Information Administration said on Tuesday.
US LNG exports – all of which came from Cheniere’s Sabine Pass facility – were shipped to 25 countries, with 53% of the volume going to Mexico, South Korea and China.
