SoftBank Group is to develop a $200 billion solar facility in Saudi Arabia.

SoftBank Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with Saudi Arabia’s government to jointly develop a $200 billion solar facility in the country.

The partnership was unveiled at a ceremony in New York. The project will comprise a 200 GW solar power plant, which would be by far the largest in the world, as well as facilities to manufacture panels and equipment.
