Lukoil surpassed Gazprom in terms of its market capitalisation on Wednesday, Reuters has reported.
Lukoil’s shares on the Moscow Exchange were up by 0.6% by mid-morning on Wednesday, to RUB 3,900 ($67.74) per share, with the company’s capitalisation reaching RUB 3.317 trillion.
Gazprom’s capitalisation was down to RUB 3.314 trillion on Wednesday, with its shares down by 0.6%, to RUB 140 each.
Sberbank leads the Russian market in capitalisation and is currently valued at RUB 5.71 trillion.
