Bangkok has introduced 100 gas-fuelled buses, according to the Bangkok Post.
A total of 489 gas-fuelled vehicles will be running on the Thai capital’s routes by June as part of a THB 4.26 billion ($136.6 million) procurement deal that was won by a joint venture comprising San Inter and Cho Thavee last December.
The vehicles will cut fuel costs by around half compared with diesel-fuelled equivalents and will significantly reduce emissions.
