JBIC may fund Vietnamese project

The Japan Bank for International Cooperation is considering funding the Block B&52/97 project being developed by PetroVietnam, according to VietnamPlus.

The project is worth nearly $10 billion and is one of Vietnam’s two largest gas developments. The contract for the project is undergoing regulatory checks and is expected to be awarded in June 2018. EPC contracts are expected to be signed in July.
