Tellurian expects to prove the commercial viability of its Louisiana-based Driftwood LNG project between July and December, the company said on Monday.

Tellurian, which aims to join the ranks of companies exporting LNG from the United States, said it remains in active discussions with third-party investors.

It will be in a position to close funding for the 11 mtpa first phase between Q3 and Q4 2018, Chief Executive Meg Gentle said in a statement.
