Japan’s Inpex plans to start up the Ichthys LNG export project in Australia by the end of March, according to E&P Magazine.
The company said it has started trial operations at the plant and is set to begin gas production by the end of March without further delays. The gas will be produced offshore and transported via an 890 km pipeline to shore to be liquefied for export.
Condensate production will start shortly after first gas, but condensate exports could happen...
