Engie raises dividends on completion of restructuring

French major Engie brought in €65.03 billion in revenues in 2017 and has upped its share dividend as a result.

French major Engie brought in €65.03 billion ($79.96 billion) in revenues in 2017, €200 million higher than in 2016 and beating an analyst consensus forecast of €64.04 billion.

The company has also increased its dividend outlook and is likely to pay €0.75 per share on its 2018 earnings, up from €0.70 for 2017, whereas analysts had expected that dividends would remain unchanged.
