China should strengthen its gas storage and transport facilities to cope with higher consumption of the fuel as the government strives to curb air pollution, China Daily reported China National Petroleum Corp. Chairman Wang Yilin as saying on Wednesday.
China should build up its strategic gas reserves and develop more storage capacity to avoid shortages in the winter, as logistics are a major constraint, Wang said on the sidelines of the 13th National People’s Congress in Beiijing this week.
