At least 18 people have been killed by a second earthquake that has struck Papua New Guinea’s Southern Highlands province, according to Reuters.
The tremor struck early on Wednesday morning local time and was concentrated 31 km southwest of the epicentre of a more powerful earthquake that occurred last week.
The earlier earthquake killed at least 55 people and forced ExxonMobil to shut down the PNG LNG plant.
