India’s Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board, which awards licences to build city gas distribution infrastructure, will rapidly increase the number of licences it grants through a forthcoming ‘mega round’, according to Energy Infrapost.

The agency has issued 13 licences over the past three months, but the mega round will offer 174 licences.
