Gazprom hopes to supply LNG to Pakistan on no-bid basis

Russia’s Gazprom would like to supply LNG to Pakistan on a no-bid basis, the company has announced.

Russia’s Gazprom would like to supply LNG to Pakistan on a no-bid basis. The announcement followed a meeting between Gazprom Chief Executive Alexei Miller and Pakistani Foreign Minister Asif Muhammad Khawaja in St. Petersburg last Thursday.

“The possibility was examined of supplying LNG to Pakistan from Gazprom’s portfolio, of cooperation in hydrocarbon exploration and production in Pakistan. Separate attention was paid to the project to build the Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline,” Gazprom said in a press release.
